Prisons ‘Freedom’ Project

Crime costs the UK a staggering £72 billion a year. The failure to crack re-offending among prisoners serving short-term sentences is a key driver of these costs – more than 70% are back behind bars within two years of release.

Our prisons project is a focus on tailored rehabilitation and education of prisoners compared with the focus on general punishment alone. We work throughout the UK and using spiritual ‘toolkits’ can demonstrate to reduce recidivism (re-offence). In conjunction with various governing authorities, volunteers liaise, correspond and teach tools of spiritual awareness, responsibility and change to effect lasting changes in their lives.
